San Jose Memorial Day Crit - May 30, 2005

Monday we rolled around the Mem Day Crit until it got fast in the last couple laps and then we all managed to work our ways outside of the top 10. Oh well.

Solano was pretty active in the race. Maybe that was the problem. All in all, it was actually a pretty solid showing by the three Solano riders in the P/1/2 race.

I blew it trying to find a spot to set Todd up and ended up out in the wind for far too long on the last lap. Rich finished with the best Solano spot - somewhere in the top 20, I think.

Seems like we're in the top 20 of every crit, so it doesn't seem unrealistic that we can start bumping the finishes up to regular top 10's.

Eric finished 6th or 7th in the 3's race. Another good finish, but surely a bit frustrating as Eric really should be racing with us in the P/1/2's. His sprint looks great, and he's riding well. Sounded like the last couple laps of the 3's race were pretty sketchy, so sometimes you're just happy to have finished upright.
