| On Sunday September 15th the City by the Bay was home to the Second Annual San Francisco Grand Prix Road Race. It loops through SF about a dozen times and tackles some of the burliest hills there. Trying to envision the hills? Think Bullit with Steve McQueen, but you have no engine and you're certainly not launching intersections ascending these hills. Very demanding and very painful if you are one of the chosen few allowed to participate. Also very awesome to watch from the sidelines with a coffee in your hand, thinking about how you only had to walk up the hill, once, but you're tired anyway. We decided to close the shop that day and check out the action first-hand and root for our pal and shop mechanic, Andy, who along with his Brother Ben, gave the Big Boys a run for their money. Here are the Hundred-some-odd miles of racing condensed into a few photos.
