Solano Avenue Cyclery now carries Rudy Project Eyewear!

The Solano Ave. Cyclery Racing team thanks all of our sponsors for helping us go fast!

The team is proud to be sponsored by: Solano Avenue Cyclery, SF Sport & Spine Physical Therapy, Telephia, David Ratoosh - Real Estate Broker, Masse's Pastries, Co-Motion Cycles, Cugini, CLIF BAR, The Old West Gun Room, Rudy Project, Giro, Mavic, Shimano, Michelin, Nike and Squadra

Getting ready for a long road ride? Check out the Specialized Sirrus bikes & the Giant OCRs – great bikes for the roadie whose priority isn’t racing.

The current full-suspension bike selection is our best yet. Santa Cruz, Specialized & Giant are offering a wide range of full-suspension bikes to meet everyone’s needs.

Got a little tyke who’d like to go riding with you? Burley Child Carriers are the best in the business. We’ve stocked the Burleys for many years, allowing us to become very familiar with all the carriers’ clever features.

Ah yeah. The goodness of bikes.

At Solano Avenue Cyclery we're quite fond of bikes, to say the least. The small, carefully chosen staff at the shop could easily be mistaken for a self-help group of individuals who are addicted to bikes and bike riding. Like any addict who has been hooked for years, when it comes to bikes and bike parts every member of the staff knows the good stuff from the bad, and we're always happy to help folks on their way to a delightful, informed bicycle addiction of their own. Heck, if you're going to have a habit that can make you feel like you're flying, it might as well be one that gets you outside, strengthens your heart & lungs, and burns fat to boot.

And the goodness doesn't stop there! It might seem like we've each chugged three double cappuccinos when we start talking about bikes, but the truth is that's just the sound of unbridled passion, and it doesn't stop when the chit chat ends. From the sales floor to the service department, the Solano Avenue Cyclery staff is one of the most competent and customer service oriented staffs in all the land. We've come from all walks of life to form a bike shop that makes us feel good about what we do – a bike shop we're proud to be a part of. Folks ask us all the time, "How come you guys didn't become astronauts?" Or, "Why did you choose this line of work rather than becoming brain surgeons?" Or, "Would you guys marry my daughters?" Or, "Why could Scrappy Doo talk when Scooby Doo could only make mumbly sounds that just barely sounded like words?". The truth is, sure, we could've become astronauts, or surgeons, or maybe even superheroes or runway models; but how many astronauts or surgeons (or even superheroes or runway models, for that matter) do you know who get to hang around bikes and bicyclists all day, feeling the fulfillment that comes with advocating the sport of cycling? As for the marrying of daughters, most of us are spoken for; and when it comes to discussions about Scrappy Doo, don't even get us started, that little dog was the demise of the show.

Nuff said.

Love & kisses from The Solano Avenue Cyclery Bunch.
Hope to see you soon!
